Self Love
What I have been ruminating over lately is how most issues that arise in my coaching or every day life conversations seem to always come back to SELF. I’m amazed at this simple life hack, that most seem to agree with me on. If we feel good on the inside, and truly in touch with our needs and wants our external life will match our internal energy. Seems simple, but is it really?
Each year we move through our human life there is conditioning and firm beliefs being formed about ourselves. Each year it gets thicker and heavier with ‘stuff’ to uncover or relearn and that self love becomes harder to find.
Once I began to truly look into my eyes and tell my younger self I am loved, beautiful and capable, I slowly started to believe it. Of course when other people tell you compliments, you often push it aside, but when you are telling yourself directly you can’t fob it off. Its so pivotal in finding that true self, and again once this is true authentic love, then everything will revolve around you in harmony.
Some people will say, well thats just how I am, or no I wont be able to change. I believe this is fear of growth and seeking what you deserve out of the risk of failure, or judgement. When we love ourselves, we don’t see anything where we are extended as being a failure but rather a lesson that we have tried. We know deep down that those things do not define us and therefore, continue on our path to try something else instead.
Self love can seem kinda cliche or too positive but it truly is the answer to most problems or issues you may be feeling. Once you dedicate time for you, everything else will follow.
